Mordekaiser was being too balant about his praise. Yes he was so great and so good. And Mordekaiser was trying to make him feel good for no appearent reason. How great. Maybe he would try to make fun of him if he took him serious, wouldn’t be the first time. “Whereever the shadows guide me.” Hecarim shrugged, he know this was only a very vague, but he wanted to see if Mordekaiser did his homework as well.
To be honest the Kaiser did not know very much about the shadow riders affairs in Valoran. He knew that the reckless horsemen had caused a massive line of destruction in his gallop towards the league. He even ran through a few Demacian forces along the way. When he reached the institute he promptly joined and ever sense then has been fighting on the fields shouting how the Isles would conquer all. This was of course very true but the rider could be seen as slightly annoying by the other Isles dwellers based on just how much he preached it. He was the equivalent of Malzahar to the Void albeit in a position of higher authority. In the end Mordekaiser just shrugged his massive metal shoulders indifferently, not really elaborating on whether or not he knew that Hecarim had been doing in his spare time.
“No clue?” Hecarim’s smiled seemed delighted by this fact. “No spies, nothing you have known?” One could actually hear how Hecarim’s ego just began to grow. He was now superior to the other General. Knowing things about his destination while he was unfindable for him… for now. “Come on, Mordekaiser, you disappoint me. Nothing at all?” Oh and how deleightful it was to rub it right into his metallic face. Nothing to bind him like Mordekaiser used to with many people before. “Don’t say the League makes you… lazy. I know who you are but even walking corpses can put on fat.” Of course they couldn’t, like he would care. The metaphor that was behind it, was understandable and if not he would love to see Mordekaiser react to that.
“Howdy.”
“…” Why was he doing that again?
“….” Looks up. Knowing Eveylnn has somewhat taken most of the fear of the shadow isles out of the Gambler. “….Ya alright? Or is my soul doin’ a dance er somethin’…?”
“Why are we speaking again? I don’t even know why I bothered responding” Somehow this useless wasted time made him angry at himself.
“I was wonderin’ what a reaper such as you would have ta say. Guess if ya see it as a waste of time..”
“Now you know. I wonder why you don’t ask Thresh. He fits more in this… reaper… scenario”

“A curse?…” Hecarim looked down at the summoner. He had his scythe rested next to the small boy. How long would it take to take it and show him? But he saw the robes, a summoner. It wasn’t smart yet. It wasn’t about time yet. “Explain me your curse, maybe I have a solution.” Play nice for now. The summoner’s had would be in a more comfortable position later.

The towering colossus of steel for once looked at something at eye level. His blood red eyes always filled with malice and pain turned their gaze on the ghostly centaur in a somewhat surprised manner. He had not expected a surprise visit from the shadow of war at this time. Though he was a bit annoyed at being disturbed so abruptly his anger died down as he realized just who stood in his presence. “Aw, greetings from me as well Hecarim.” The Kaiser spoke with a neutral and even tone, his greeting seemed impassive to say the least. It was the kind of calm way of speaking a general took when conversing with another. He did however arch a hidden brow under his dark helm at the war-runners statement. “Finally you have found me? What do you mean? I can assure you I have not been taking any journeys away from Valoran or the Isles as of late. Was there something you wished to see me about?” All this was said with the careful pauses and even tone one might take when speaking with an equal, or at least when speaking with someone who thought they were equal to you and you would prefer that disillusion to remain in tact.
Eyes to eyes. He still felt good by seeing how he was on the same level as the paladin of pain and pestilence. From General to General it was always nice to talk. Actually he had no reason to threat, he didn’t have to be shadow of war. For him a lot of this weight was taken from his shoulders. “The altars… the Lady fogged my vision for a long time. I didn’t hear the shadows for too long. I was blinded.” The ever lasting grin on Hecarim’s face changed a bit, or so it seemed. One would say it was an evil smirk. “But don’t think I was deaf, I know of your regular journeys to Noxus’ slums. You cannot fool me there.”
The Kaisers red eyes narrowed at the mention of the alters. Those two were a pain in the Kaisers side and despite the east’s alters readiness to aid him he despised both as much as he despised the mortals. Those two spirits knew to much and needed to me silenced. “Yes the Lord and Lady can be… difficult at times. I understand what you mean.” The lady in particular was bothersome. Her comments had the strength to penetrate even the Kaisers thick steel armor. ‘Are you to a prisoner Mordekaiser?’. It took a lot of will not to visibly shake slightly as he recalled the gentle voice of the lady. They would have to be silenced soon indeed. When Hecarim mentioned how he had not been deaf and he knew what hte Kaiser was up to the dark paladin tensed. His steel gauntlet clenched in nervousness but when the rider mentioned he knew of his affairs in Noxus the Kaiser stood stunned for a moment. ‘By the Isles Hecarim your a fool!’ The Kaiser thought silently to himself. He couldn’t help but erupt in a metallic laughter. “I see you are more observant then even I had first imagined! Yes there is no tricking you Hecarim. I have been lurking in the Noxian slums as of late, I find the sickness and death there very… fulfilling.” In truth the Kaiser didn’t care in the slightest about who knew of his presence in the slums. So he eagerly played it like that was his secret and Hecarim had cunningly found the truth, when in actuality he was he couldn’t have been farther away from it. “What about you? When the league does not call where do you ride friend?”

Tremble in fear. Do not stay still. Easy said, hard made. People who saw him trembled in fear. Hecarim could remember various human that died like that. And now he waits for your inquiry.
